Don-Nan Pump & Supply Company (Don-Nan) was founded by Vernon Carruth in 1962. With 20 years of experience in the pump and supply business, Mr. Carruth began the challenging process of building a service company. During the early years Mr. Carruths son (Don Carruth) learned the technical aspects of the pump business; as well, a work ethic that has helped the company reach its current level of success. Don returned to Don-Nan in 1976 to take a permanent role in the family business. In 1976 after her retirement from Ashland Oil Company, Dorothy Carruth (wife of Vernon and mother of Don) joined the family business.

In 1979, Don-Nan outgrew the original location at 918 Main Street and moved to the present location 3427 E. Hwy 158. Building on the success of the pump repair shop, supply sales were added in the early 80's. By 1991 the business had developed into a thriving business with two new locations Odessa and Stinnett, Texas. As the company continued to grow, the realization of further expansion became inevitable and in 1995 a new store was opened in Hobbs, New Mexico. In 1997 the newest addition to the rapidly expanding company was erected in Kermit, Texas. The most recent count of the employees totals approximately 120 strong.

As we continue to grow, it is our goal to continue to provide the quality service for which we are known. Each employee is challenged to take an active interest not only in doing his or her job well, but also in helping reach the objectives of the company.

MANUFACTURING DIVISION

Due to the continued success and growth of Don-Nan Pump & Supply Company, a new entity was created to support and diversify the original organization. This company is called Don-Nan Machine & Manufacturing. The manufacturing division came online in 1981, and since its beginning it has grown steadily. In the 90's the machine division has almost doubled in size. The newest addition to the manufacturing division is a full service CODE welding fabrication shop.
